Christina Cervone

Christina Cervone, originally from Atlanta, GA, trained in both theatre and dance from the age of 4. She studied at Dance Contempra and The Legacy Theatre and currently attends Troy University as a senior dance major. She has trained in a wide range of dance styles including ballet, modern, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical, to name a few. Her passion for both theatre and dance allows her to incorporate artistry and expression into her performances as well as in her classroom. Recently, she served as dance captain while performing in Newsies at Troy University. She started as an assistant teacher at age 12 before teaching classes of her own at age 15. She has taught from beginner babies through advanced, pre-professional levels. Christina has a heart for teaching and plans to pursue her master’s in elementary education so that she may mentor students in an academic classroom and the dance studio. Christina currently serves as the President of Tau Delta Theta, a dance honor society connected to the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). .
